Cabaret

Cabaret is a classic Kander and Ebb musical that first premiered on the Great White Way in 1966. Set against the backdrop of 1931 Berlin, the musical takes place in a seedy cabaret theatre called the Kit Kat Klub. It ran for 1,165 performances and won the Tony Award for Best Musical. It has since been revived numerous times and was even turned into a popular 1972 film directed by Bob Fosse and starring Liza Minelli.
