Fantasticks: Accompaniment CD

This album features songs from the long-running Broadway musical, The Fantasticks. Opening at the Sullivan Street Playhouse in May 1960, The Fantasticks ran for over 17,000 continuous performances and did not close until 2002. Jerry Orbach was a member of the original cast of this musical. The Fantasticks was composed by Tom Jones with lyrics by Harvey Schmidt. Jones and Schmidt's other projects include the Tony-Nominated I Do! I Do!

There are 21 tracks on this album: Tracks 1-11 contain the background tracks and guide vocals; tracks 12-21 contain the background tracks alone. These albums are re-recordings in the original show key and show tempo.
